Digital Storytelling & Links

“Digital Storytelling” refers to an emerging effort to empower people by showing that their stories are of great interest and value to others by investing time in teaching them how to tell these stories in digital moving-image medium. Which uses any mixture of narration, music, photos, images, scans, video, interview techniques.

It is “democratising film”.

Here are some other projects which are involved in a similar indevour:

Born a Girl – BBC producer Kate Howells has been following the lives of five girls since 1995. The series explores these girls’ feelings and thoughts on their families, relationships, children and careers. Find out if their attitudes have changed over 15 years. Is what was important to them as a teenager still important to them now?
